“Healing takes time, and asking for help is a courageous step”.
You can learn to embody the qualities that make you brave in therapy and in life. I am here to help you confront what is keeping you from a whole-hearted, purpose-filled life. I am here to help guide you through any situation you have faced either in the past or currently.
I earned a bachelor’s of arts in Psychology and a bachelor’s of science in Biology from the University of Rhode Island. I then received my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College. Currently, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor from Massachusetts. Throughout my years, I have worked with children, teenagers, adults, and elders in a wide range of ages. I have a wide variety of experience working with individuals who have anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, developmental disabilities, personality disorders, bipolar, grief and loss, relationship issues, self-harm/suicidal ideation, and anger management. I am here to make sure you are in a safe environment where you feel non-judged, listened to, and supported. I want to allow you to express your feelings and thoughts in a safe environment as well as feeling comfortable to express it to me.
During therapy, I will be using a cognitive behavioral approach, as well as art therapy techniques, play therapy techniques, motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, and mindfulness-based interventions. I hope to work with you to help you find a path to healing.
