“Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful parts of us.” Deciding to go to therapy isn’t the easiest thing to do but it can be helpful when wanting to discover our own beautiful parts. Everyone deserves the opportunity to be able to have the time and space to divulge into their lives and become the best person they can be.
Throughout my time in the field I have worked in outpatient settings, schools, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient settings. I currently am recognized as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Massachusetts, and previously held Professional School Counselor certifications in both Massachusetts and West Virginia. I specialize in person-centered therapy, as well as motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I have worked with individuals of all ages in both rural and urban settings. I grew up in the city of Boston and was able to educate myself on different cultures and lifestyles, and was able to translate that to more rural settings when I obtained my Master’s in Counseling at West Virginia University. I have been able to provide services to individuals with trauma, anxiety, depression, co-occurring disorders, additionally to addiction and multiple others.
Reaching out for therapy isn’t always the easiest, but after that first big jump, it’s all baby steps afterwards. I am ready to walk next to you on your journey to being the person you would like to be!
