“If we can make it clear that feelings are not only mentionable, but manageable, we will have done a great service for mental health.” When I heard Mr. Rogers say this, I knew I wanted to be in a position to help others. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I look to provide a safe environment for anyone to express themselves, heal from their wounds, and empower themselves to achieve wellness.
I have experience with a wide range of mental health challenges across many populations and all ages. I have worked with patients who have Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Substance Use Disorder, PTSD and other conditions, and LGBTQ+ friendly. I have extensive work with trauma informed care and substance use treatment.
I offer trauma informed therapy, motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, and other evidenced-based interventions to promote wellness and healing for patients with mental health challenges.
I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from Salem State University, and I have been working in the mental health field for more than 12 years. I made the decision to pursue my passion after working for years in the corporate world. I will work tirelessly to help you meet and exceed your wellness goals and improve your mood and overall functioning.
