Hello there! My name is Kevin and I am a pre-licensed mental health clinician aiming to create an atmosphere where clients feel especially safe and heard. I have experience working with clients across the lifespan, from toddlers to late adulthood, and with those struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders and PTSD. Outside the clinical setting, I have experience in higher education, career counseling, and working with high school-aged students. I bring my expertise from all my professional roles into the clinical setting when it supports the therapeutic process.
In my work, I utilize art therapy, strengths-based, person-centered, acceptance & commitment, and existential therapy in addition to cognitive behavioral and talk therapy. I have a particular interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, college-aged individuals, men, individuals going through career and life transitions and those navigating relationship issues. I strive to create a compassionate, warm, reflective, nonjudgmental and even humorous space where clients feel safe to explore who they are, make sense of challenges, and build confidence in their ability to grow and adapt. I believe meaningful change happens when we have the courage to sit with discomfort and use it as a catalyst for personal growth. Remember, this space is for you and together we will take the steps towards tranquility and empowerment.
