“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”
“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” – Carl Jung
Hi, my name is Erika.
I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Trauma Certificate from Simmons University and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Massachusetts, currently working toward independent licensure. I am a fluent Spanish speaker and welcome clients seeking sessions conducted in Spanish.
My clinical approach is person-centered and welcoming to neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ individuals. I draw from a range of modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, art therapy, and other research-informed practices that support growth, resilience, and emotional well-being. I strive to create a collaborative environment where clients feel seen, understood, and supported.
I have experience working with adolescents, college students, young professionals , and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life or career transitions. I aim to foster a warm, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel comfortable expressing themselves, processing difficult experiences, and building the skills to achieve balance, healing, and personal fulfillment.
